That's the beauty of the CD32 is was 'set hardware' like a console, everyone had the same specifications (ignoring the exotic upgrade options). Yes you could go down the HD path (create an Amiga HD partiton in UAE) and install all the games with WHD load but that's pretty time consuming and I for one don't want to start mucking about with Workbench again and installing all those patches and menu programs to make Workbench look nice and work well. OR the hold down both mouse buttons on boot up to turn off fastmem? (I think). I remember back in the day on real hardware the A1200 would need a special boot disk "relokick" to run ECS games and even then with limited success. Get your hands on the "Amiga CD32 multigame" iso's (google) Now I have a long history with the Amiga in fact the A1200 was my first 'internet' computer.īUT getting Amiga emulators to work is no fun especially when you are helping friends/noobs who just want to play games and know nothing about AGA, ECS, kickstart roms, disk swapping, fastmem etc.ĪNYWAY in my opinion this is the best way to go. This is so awesomely simple I almost cried.
